I can’t talk to badly about Twitter since I do have a Twitter account (Twitter does have some valid uses). However, this video encompasses what 90% of the people are using Twitter for right now – spewing forth the most inane, mundane minutia of their lives in order that they might feel better about themselves. A Texas senior citizen drove his brand new Corvette convertible out of the dealership.

Taking off down the road, he pushed it to 80 mph, enjoying the wind blowing through what little hair he had left. “Amazing,” he thought as he flew down I-30, pushing the pedal even more.

Looking in his rear view mirror, he saw a Texas State Trooper, blue lights flashing and siren blaring. He floored it to 100 mph, then 110, then 120. Suddenly he thought, “What am I doing? I’m too old for this!” and pulled over to await the trooper’s arrival.

Pulling in behind him, the trooper got out of his vehicle and walked up to the Corvette. He looked at his watch, then said, “Sir, my shift ends in 30 minutes. Today is Friday. If you can give me a new reason for speeding–a reason I’ve never before heard–I’ll let you go.”

The old gentleman paused then said: “Three years ago, my wife ran off with a Texas State Trooper. I thought you were bringing her back.”

“Have a good day, sir,” replied the trooper.

Get Out Of Debt Now

This is by far the best and most successful plan I’ve ever seen for getting out of debt. Seriously.

Unfortunately, this isn’t a laughing matter. It seems a ton of people in America did what the couple in the video did, yet they are the one’s receiving bailouts and mortgage assistance. I’ve got my own debt, but I’m actually paying my bills. So I don’t get a bailout? Interesting, guess I’ll start letting my mortgage payment lapse. C’mon people, learn some freakin’ personal responsibility.

This little “joke” made it’s way around the Internet prior to the election. I just found it in one of my old emails. Either this is reality to come, or it’s just a partisan joke. Take it for what you like.

Dear Fellow Business Owners

As a Business owner who employs 30 people, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barack Obama, will be our next President, and that my Taxes and Fees, will go up in a BIG way.

To compensate for these increases, I figure, that the Customer, will have to see an increase in my fees to them of about 8%. I will also have to lay off 6 of my employees. This really bothered me as I believe we are family here and didn’t know how to choose who will have to go. So, this is what I did. I strolled through the parking lot and found 6 Obama bumper stickers on my employees’ cars. I have decided these folks will be the first to be laid off.

I can’t think of another fair way to approach this problem. If you have a better idea, let me know.
I am sending this letter to all Business owners that I know.
